“Fantastic experience with Allfloors doing a brilliant job replacing the floors across the downstairs of our house. Professional and friendly service from Richard, Mhairi and all the fitters. This is the second time we have used them and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again.”
“Thanks so much for your outstanding service from the point of order to completion. We are delighted with our new lounge floor and how it was so expertly fitted. We will use your company again and would not hesitate to recommend AllFloors.”
“First class job of laying our lounge/dining room Amtico flooring. The team were polite, efficient and careful, tidy workers. A real asset to the company but I have to say Mhairi was excellent when dealing with me on the phone and she came back with the information we needed in a very timely manner. Straight forward, friendly and honest company to deal with and we would have no hesitation using Allfloors again. Well done guys, a pleasure working with you. Thanks again.”
“I contacted Allfloors just last week following a bathroom leak, and they were so quick to reply and come out to provide a quote (which was very reasonably priced). The next week they had done it, and it looks so much better than it was even before the leak. Thank you very much for your quick replies and responses as well as great work!”

Choosing a new carpet is not an easy decision to make. There are a huge selection of different materials, colours, and types of carpet available on the market and it is easy to get confused.
If warmth and comfort are your main priority, a wool carpet provides both in abundance, whilst the stain resistance and durability of polypropylene is the best choice for a living room or child’s playroom.
The material of the carpet. The pile of the carpet. The design on the carpet. How much use the carpet will get. These are just some of the things to consider during your carpet search and by seeking the expert advice of the team at Allfloors, you will have access to a range of quality products that exceed all your expectations.
We have a fantastic range of quality carpets available to both domestic and commercial customers, with design and material options to suit any home or business.
If flooring is what you are looking for, we are the carpet experts that you need to call. We have been installing carpets in Central Scotland for well over 15 years now and have developed a selection of Glasgow carpets unrivalled in terms of variety, durability, and style.
Carpets for bedrooms, living room carpets, discount carpets, loop carpets, the list goes on; if you can walk on it, and it would look and feel great inside your home, we do it.
When you visit our showroom, just a few minutes outside of Glasgow in East Kilbride, you will have the chance to view and try out a variety of carpet types right here in store, with helpful advisors on hand to help you find the ideal carpet to suit your requirements.
Change your mind on carpet, or looking to install flooring in several different rooms, we’ve got you covered with an extensive selection of luxury vinyl flooring, hardwood flooring, and laminate flooring.
When it comes to carpet fibres wool and polypropylene stand in a league of their own and are the go-to choice for most style savvy homeowners.
But which is better for you?
Wool is a natural organic material that has been prized for many hundreds of years for its durability, warmth, and easy maintenance.
Wool carpets thrive in almost any environment, absorbing volatile organic compounds from the atmosphere and offering exceptional sound absorption.
Don’t be put off by the fact these carpets are man made. This is a material that still offers excellent feel and comfort, whilst also being highly stain resistant and resilient to environmental factors.
No matter how hard you try to avoid it, life happens and the odd spillage here and there is inevitable over the years. With a polypropylene carpet, the chance of an ‘oops’ moment leading to permanent damage is significantly reduced. These carpets also keep their colour extremely well and will not fade noticeably just a couple of years down the line.
Can’t decide between the two? You don’t have to, with a wool blend that combines these two superb carpet materials (80% wool, 20% polypropylene) into one incredibly strong luxury final product. This way you harness the benefits of both carpet types, maximising comfort, longevity, and stain-resistance.
Wool blend loop carpets are the perfect choice for someone looking to mix style and comfort with practicality and are a very smart investment to make.
If you are still unsure, get in touch with our expert carpet installation team today or visit our store to see our products in person. Our carpet stock is as varied and carefully chosen to offer the broadest possible range without compromising on quality with free samples available and delivery/installation available across the whole of Central Scotland.
The choice between wool, polypropylene, or a wool blend should be made based on how you plan to use your home carpets.
In a hallway, or similar high traffic area, a wool carpet is ideal as it can cope with a significant amount of use without showing signs of wear.
When it comes to carpets for living room, on the other hand, a polypropylene carpet is probably the better option as it is easy to clean and is highly stain resistant.
The twist construction of our polypropylene carpets makes them perfect for homes that are always on the go whilst our Saxony carpet provides an added level of luxury and softness to bedroom carpets or lounge carpets.
No matter which carpet type you end up choosing, we have a vast array of different colours, textures, and styles on offer.
We always have some great carpets for sale, and if cheap carpets for less are what you are looking for, our budget carpets are available at a much lower price than many of our top competitors.

Yes, send your plan or bring it into the showroom, and we will be able to work out a price for your safety vinyl flooring based on the floor plan.
We always aim to measure within a week of your visit. If you’re local we can normally arrange a measure within a couple of days.
Yes, each floor covering requires a different standard of floor preparation, and as long as the subfloor is structurally “sound”, we can generally deal with most issues. For any specific project, we can usually advise what’s required when we come to measure.
No one has a showroom big enough to display every single option that is “out there”. We can usually get hold of most other types of flooring and carpets, so let us know the name, colour and where you’ve seen it, and we’ll probably be able to find it.
There is an easy workaround. Just place your safety floor order to avoid any potential price increases, and we will keep your safety floors in our warehouse at no extra charge. This comes in handy when customers want to take advantage of a special offer before moving into a property or if they’re waiting for decorating to be finalised. This also works for customers who would like to order a floor and delay the fitting for some other reason.
Yes. We have vast experience in all aspects of commercial work. Browse our commercial page for more details.
No! We offer a free home estimate and planning service and can bring samples to your home. We are available 5 days a week at a time that best suits you.
It depends on what you choose and how complex the job is. Our suppliers take varying times to deliver. But if you need a quick turnaround, we can show you safety floor products with a fast delivery or something from our stock. Some more intricate floors can sometimes be 2–3 months in advance.
Yes, you can borrow any samples you see in our showroom, and we can collect them when we come to measure. That allows you to see them over a period of time in your own home, with your own lighting and home decor.
Yes, for an additional charge, we can move a (pre-agreed) reasonable amount of heavy furniture. You’ll have to remove electrical equipment, any breakable items, smaller pieces and ornaments or books from the room yourself. Speak to us, and we can advise what we can do. Also, for an additional charge, our fitters can uplift and remove the old floor covering on the day of the fitting.
We’re happy to supply and fit, but if you’ve purchased flooring elsewhere, unfortunately, we can’t install it. However, if you’ve seen flooring elsewhere, send us an email with a link, and we can usually source it.
Thinking about buying new flooring products? It can be difficult to pick the right flooring solution for your space. Our flooring specialist in Glasgow has compiled a complete guide to help you make the right choices.
Finishing touches such as threshold bars, stair rods, and entrance matting can be the difference between a nice floor and a fabulous floor. It gives life to areas of your home that might otherwise go unnoticed. These “extras” can quickly become essentials once you see the positive difference they can make. Take a look at our breakdown of all the fantastic options to finish off your floor with style.
The underlay should be replaced at the same time as your carpet. Re-using the same underlay significantly shortens carpet life and makes the surface feel much harder underfoot. Old underlays can also cause premature wear spots, wrinkling and faster fibre deterioration.

When buying new flooring, it’s important that you understand how to clean it properly. Lacklustre care and maintenance can damage your floors beyond repair. Follow our handy aftercare guide to prevent this from happening.
