How to Measure for Your New Flooring/Carpet
Providing us with accurate room measurements will help us to give you a more accurate flooring estimate and allow you to narrow down your options to find your new dream floor.
This is not an installation guide, and we will always endeavour to carry out a survey to double check the dimensions.
Benefits of Installing New Underlay
Underlay should be replaced at the same time as your carpet. Re-using the same underlay multiple times will significantly shorten carpet life and make the surface feel much harder under foot. It can also lead to premature wear spots, wrinkling, and cause the fibres to break down far faster than on a carpet with new underlay. It can also develop a pretty pungent smell over the years.
Finishing Touches
Finishing touches such as threshold bars, stair rods, and entrance matting can be the difference between a nice floor and a fabulous floor, giving life to areas of your home that might otherwise go unnoticed. These “additional extras” can quickly become essentials once you see the positive difference they can make.
